Of course, as an orthodontic specialist laboratory, we are happy to prepare plate appliances of all kinds for you and your patients. These include classic active plates, but also passive plates such as removable placeholders and various retention devices.

Here, too, we are fully committed to the well-established Dr. Baxmann concept. So that all treatment parts, as well as all our products, are optimally and expertly checked match together.

Retention Plates

These are passive plate devices used to stabilize the achieved treatment outcome after active therapy. As a rule, these are appliances that are used individually in each jaw. The best-known variant is the Hawley-Retainer. Patients can choose from our great selection of colours and design of the appliances themselves.

Alternatively, transparent rails, e.g. the Essix-Retainer can be used.

Placeholder

The molars often migrate in children with early loss of deciduous teeth or extractions of premolars. It comes to the so-called collapse of the support zones. To avoid this, it makes sense to use a placeholder to keep the gaps open. The placeholder can be made in different colors. Also, motives or milk teeth, as a particularly real-looking placeholder, can be incorporated.

Mouthguard

Of course, we also manufacture an individual mouthguard. This is especially useful for contact sports. The mouth guard not only protects children’s teeth but can of course also be made for adults. With free choice of colours, as you are used to from us.

With our braces configurator your patients can get really creative

Almost everything is possible when choosing the color of the devices:

Here, small and big children can try different designs, compare with their friends, change again and make even more beautiful. We are happy to assist you as a consultant.

Especially with children, the design is very important as they have a high impact on the willingness to wear and thus on the success of the treatment.
We also build in real photos (for example from the favourite animal/pet).

Functional orthodontic treatment

In functional orthodontic treatment, jaw misplacements, so-called dysgnathia, are treated. The most common dysgnathia is the class II, the lower jaw reserve. It is found with a prevalence of approximately 70% in most orthodontic patients. For therapy removable devices are used, which move the lower jaw forward.

The Dr. Baxmann concept puts clearly on the TwinBlock in this case. This achieves outstanding results in functional orthodontics and is one of the best researched devices of its kind. He is not just indicated for class II therapy. Did you know that he is also very well suited for class III therapy?

Since I use the SymBlock of Dr. Baxmann, I have 20% less extraction cases!

For the asymmetry treatment, we offer you exclusively the SymBlock according to Dr. Baxmann. Asymmetries are among the treatments that are difficult to control with conventional functional orthodontic appliances. However, this is achieved successfully with the SymBlock for years.

To control the wearing time, we also like to work on special micro-chips in the braces. Then we can use the PC to read out the patient’s actual wearing time and print it out for you and the patient.
